We offer a separate 17-bed unit for individuals suffering from late stages of memory loss. This unit has a separate manager to oversee all care and concerns for these residents. The unit provides a 1 to 4 staff to resident ratio. The unit is small and cozy to allow residents to feel safe and secure. The day room and the dining room are always supervised by well-trained and competent staff. We offer activities throughout the day and a weekly outing. The beautiful grounds only add to the resident’s quality of life. The staff on this unit are required to have additional training in dementia care and behavior management. At the end of life’s journey, these residents are able to remain on this unit (their home) with the assistance of Hospice services.
